This DVD runs 60 minutes
and is for those who like to see a lot of fish being caught. I apply
most of the structure fishing tactics you see on the Secrets For
Structure DVD and some of the techniques on the Killer Tricks For
Trolling DVD. The structure fishing show is filmed on Kerr Lake in
North Carolina. I use the rod holders in real situations. I show you
how to use your depth finder to locate structure. I demonstrate how
to rig live bait and jigs and I catch a bunch of fish on live bait
and jigs. The trolling show is filmed on a lake off the Lumber River
in Eastern NC. In this show you will learn how to catch crappies
trolling shallow water in fall with artificial baits. I close this
one by catching a two and half pound monster crappie. You wanted
lots of fish - you got it!
Crappie Killer Rod
Holders

Crappie Killer Rod Holders are
made of steel, not aluminum. They are super tough and will last a
long, long time. Each rod holder assembly was designed for a
specific purpose. They are adjustable up and down and side to side.
All of our rod holders mount on a simple base which allows the rod
holder "T" bar to be removed and stored.
The "Shorty" is a
multipurpose rod holder. It's great for trolling or tight lining.
This one is popular in states where there is a two rod per person
limit. It's also popular with the Walleye fishermen.
The "Killer" is our
original four rod holder assembly. Fish four rods over structure,
drift or troll. This assembly is strong and rigid. It will not flex,
wobble or bend with four long trolling rods in it. This unit is
designed specifically for bass boats that have tight knee clearance
in the front. You can mount one on each side of your pedestal seat
and fish eight rods with ease. I have multiple bases mounted on my
boat so I can move my rod holders around to suit any style or
fishing conditions.
The "Killer Trolling
System" consists of a dual pedestal seat mount and two killer
rod holders. This unit is designed for those of us that prefer not
to drill holes to mount the rod holder bases. This unit can also be
moved from the front to the back of a boat very easily. It simply
slides in the pedestal mount for your bass boat seat. Now you and a
partner can fish out of the front or back of the boat with eight
rods. No modification is required to your boat to use this system.
(This one takes a few weeks to get, be prepared to order in
advance).
The "Flying V" is for
the tournament fisherman or hard core troller. This is a three piece
assembly that breaks down easily to store in your rod box. Most
people mount them on the rear of the boat to fish an eight rod
tournament spread. Designed specifically for trolling and is
recommended for deep "V" style boats or deep hull bass
boats.
All of our rod holders can be
built to suit your needs. Although we have standard widths, heights
and colors, we can accommodate your specifications. It may take a
little extra time to get a custom height and color, but we are happy
to do it. We can even get them chrome plated!

I have had a lot of requests
to sell the rod holders I use. I first made a set of these for
myself and my partner and fellow guide Jay Pruett in 1996.
Being a designer,
and having some access to a welder and some shop tools, I
went to work. The rod holder you see in the photograph is
the result.

Jay and I have
used these rod holders for years and they are still in
good condition. If installed properly, a 200 pound man
can sit on them with out fear of breaking them. I'm not
joking!
Bottom line, they
are tough, and will stand up to years and years of use (abuse).
I generally make
them 18" tall and 24" wide with four rod
holders. This provides adequate foot and knee clearance
as well as easy access from a standard height fishing
seat in a bass boat. I use 13' rods in these holders and
they do not flex or distort in any way. The rod holders
can be adjusted axially and up and down to allow any angle
or height desired. I like my rod tips just off the water
when trolling. So it is important to be able to adjust
them quickly and easily. Once you tighten the hardware
down it stays tight until you put a wrench to it.
I sell them for
$49.95

put them together for you. You can pick your color but I
prefer black.
The rod holders
have protective rubber skirts to protect the reel seats
from damage.

Night Fishing Lights
I put together a night fishing light
that attaches to my rod holder setup. It took me a while to find a
supplier for flood lights that would work with the rig and still be
cost effective.
Of course the whole thing is made
out of steel. The light in the picture above is not the one I use for production units. The new light is round and more
adjustable. The assembly simply slides over the "T" bar
support and tightens down with a wing nut. The light extends about
24" out over the water. This allows you to fish directly over
the light with various length rods. No hot lanterns in the boat. And
it rock steady.
Big waves come by, no problem. It's not going
to break or fall in. Obviously these are designed to be above the
water, not in it. So don't submerge them. The light itself is in a
water proof case. When you're
done, disconnect it from the battery (not supplied) and store in
your rod locker. I'm going to sell these for $29.95 plus $5.00

Crappie
Killer Jig Heads - Totally Redesigned for 2008
Note from the Killer - That's
right, I have totally redesigned my jigs. I listened to all the feedback I
have received over the years. It has helped me make modifications to the
jigs that make them better. First we changed the mold. The jig head now has
a slightly different profile and is a bit more narrow. Next we changed the
eyes and the adhesive we use to attach the eyes to the head. Then we changed
the paint process to include better powder coat paint and an additional
fifteen minute second cure. This insures a very durable, bright finish.
Last, and best of all, we changed the hook. We now use a very expensive, but
very effective Sickle Hook. It's the latest and greatest hook on the market
today. Plus we modified our molds to accommodate a #4 size hook rather than
a #6. This hook is proven to increase hook up ratios. With a unique bend,
wider gap and super sharp hook point, they are without a doubt the best
hooks I have ever used. Every process needed to make these jigs is done by
hand. It's expensive and time consuming to produce them. But we are not
increasing the price. I appreciate your business and your feedback. I hope
the new jigs help you catch more fish.
You want the best, you got the
best. Made right here in the USA. These are without a doubt the very best
jig heads I have ever used. Crappies love these things. I have fished with
just about every style, shape, color and weight jig head out there. And in
my humble opinion, no jig head will come close to these. I troll with these
jig heads exclusively. They run true and straight right out of the package.
Match them up with your favorite color jig body and you have a deadly
combination. I also use only these jigs heads when I am shooting docks,
casting to brush or lay-downs or other structure. They are easy to hang on
to and shoot great. When structure fishing I use them with a jig body and
without, but tipped with a minnow. Very simply they out perform any other
jig head with any technique I use. The one at the top of the picture is the
famous "Mean Green". Hands down this is my favorite jig head of
all time. You match that one with a chartreuse jig body and it will catch
fish anywhere in the country. I have listed all the colors available below.
